Welcome parents and students to the Covington High Naval Junior Officers Training Corps webpage. This site was made to inform those who are considering joining ROTC and/or is already a cadet. I hope this information is helpful.

For all new students just joining us:
On behalf of the JROTC unit at Covington High, the unit staff would like to personally welcome all parents and students that are now a part of our unit while thanking all returning students. We like to think of ourselves as a family inside the unit and we hope you feel the same by the end of the year here at Covington. If you are a new cadet feel free to ask any member of the staff for help. I'm sure we can give you tips on your uniforms and anything else involving school and NJROTC in general.

     For the parents veiwing our website we would like to stress that we a re NOT a recruiting station. We do not incourge your children to
join the military but if that is the career path they chose we will do everything in our power to get them there. Obove anything else we are a leadership class that teaches the three basic principals of the navy: Honor, Courage, and Commitment. We teach our cadets how to be a productive and respectful citizen in the community.
